Prof. V Ranganathan
Prof. Ranganathan is an RBI Chair Professor of Infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore in the Economics and Social Sciences area. He is also a member of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) since May 20, 2011. He has worked in the areas of Privatisation, Regulation, Infrastructure, in Electricity and Telecom; Cost Benefit Analysis, Environmental Economics and Climate change. He is an Executive Member of the South Asian Federation of Infrastructure Regulators. Professor Ranganathan was an Advisor with UPSC, and earlier was Director, Rural Electrification Corporation, New Delhi. Prof. Ranganathan holds a B.Tech (Electronics and Communications) from IIT, Madras, and a doctorate in Economics from IIM Ahmedabad. He is a Fulbright Scholar of Harvard University, and has taught at the Asian Institute of Technology and at the University of Pennsylvania.
Prof. Trilochan Sastry
Prof. Trilochan Sastry is a professor in the Quantitative Methods and Information System. He is known for his keen associations and experience in the social sector. Prof. Trilochan Sastry has a PhD from MIT, MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and B.Tech from IIT Delhi. He has taught at IIM Ahmedabad and at ISB, Hyderabad. He was visiting professor in Japan, Hong Kong and the US. The Association of Indian Management Schools adjudged Professor Sastry the "best Young Teacher" for the year 1999. He received the "Outstanding Contribution to National Development" Award from IIT Delhi in 2005. His research interests include poverty related development issues as well as governance, democracy, public private partnerships and role of International Agencies in India.
Prof. Vaidynathan
Professor of Finance and Control and UTI Chair Professor in the area of Capital Markets, Vaidyanathan's interests are Corporate Finance, Investments, Risk Management and Pensions. He is Chairperson for the Centre for Capital Market and Risk Management (CCMR) at IIMB. He is a National Fellow of ICSSR. Vaidyanathan has a Masters from the Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta and Fellow in Management (Doctorate) from IIM Calcutta where he also taught for four years. He was a visiting Fulbright Scholar in Finance / Pensions at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaigne and Georgia State University USA, and a visiting faculty at the International Center for Banking and Financial Services at Manchester Business School and the Faculty of Management at the University of Mauritius, amongst others.
Saumil Majmudar
Saumil Majmudar is a 1995 batch IIM Bangalore alumnus. He currently serves as CEO at SportzVillage. He brings over 11 years of experience in leading new ventures and market initiatives. Saumil previously worked with Wipro Global R&D and FutureSoft and was earlier CEO of Learn@Home, CEO of Support. He holds a B-Tech degree from IIT-Bombay and an MBA degree from IIM-Bangalore.
Shaibal Chakrabarty
Shaibal Chakrabarty currently serves as CTO, Alliances at Cisco. He has over 20 years of experience in operations, business and technology. He has experiences across business functions including product management, business development and strategy. Prior to joining Cisco, Shaibal has spent a large part of his career at Nortel. He has a global experience in handling accounts such as Sprint, BSNL, Verizon, CHT, Telecom Egypt, China Unicom and MC.
Ramakrishna N K
Ramakrishna is the co-founder and CEO of Rang De, an online P2P lending platform in the microfinance space. He spent the initial years of his career in technical roles, before passionately moving into the social sector. His past experiences include that of Vice president, Technology at IFMR Trust, Principal Consultant at Vignette Europe Limited and Consultant at Satyam Computer Services Limited
Karthik Shashidhar
Karthik is currently an independent quant and data modeling consultant. He also works part time with the Takshashila Institution and seeks to write on economics and public policy issues in the mainstream media. He is simultaneously working on a book about corporate culture and employee management. He has been associated with firms such as Goldman Sachs, AT Kearney and Sabre in short but impactful stints, before he plunged as an independent quant consultant. He is a 2006 Alumnus of IIM Bangalore and a 2004 batch alumnus of IIT, Madras.

Past ShARE Seminars
The ShARE World Seminar happens once in a year and gathers representatives from all ShARE eams. It is the most important event for ShARE members and one of the rare opportunity for our members to physically meet. Last World Seminar was held in Shanghai, for over 100 participants.
