HOW IT WORKS
ShARE TEAM AND OVERVIEW
The ShARE team will be composed of 5 ShARE - 4 junior students and one senior student who will work as a project manager and who will be the point of contact. The ShARE students commit to work 10 hours per week for a period of 4-6 weeks.
It is important to stay on schedule given that students have exams and breaks, and that we schedule start-up projects when students have more free time.
WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU
- A clear and feasible scope– Scope has to be narrow enough to be solved within 4-6 weeks.
- One hour per week of coordination– You need to appoint a project coordinator who can help and guide the students during the 6 weeks
- 4 meetings – The project should have at least 4 meetings (mainly through SKYPE/ calls) . It starts with a kick-off meeting, followed by two review meetings and one final meeting where the CEO should attend
- Feedback at the end of the project– Once the project is finished, you will provide an on-line feedback to the team. This is necessary for the students to validate their credits.

FAQ
Do I remunerate the students ?
The students are not remunerated on this type of projects. It is a learning experience from them. We expect you to spend at least one hour per week to coach them and the students should meet the CEO of the start-up at the end of the project.
If you think the work has added a lot of value to your business, you can sponsor the students to attend ShARE annual global event.
Is this cost free to me ?
Typically there is no project expenses and the project can be done at no cost. If there are project cost (e.g travelling cost, survey..), the start-up has to cover them.
Can I give the students any work ?
You have to give strategic case to the students. You can’t give them an admin or technical work. For example, just compiling a database of customers won’t be eligible for a project.
Can I make the project longer?
The project has to be within 4-6 weeks. The scope has to be narrow enough.
Will students work in my start-up?
No, students will work remotely from their campus and will spend in average 10 hours per week on the case.
Do I need to sign a contract ?
You just need to agree on the terms and conditions when you register on-line. You might want to sign a NDA with the students. We advise you not to share confidential information with them.
